Race Start times have changed
The starting time of the Marathon and Half Marathon has been changed to 8:00 am.
When planning the times we did not take into consideration that there may be people who would stay or live on the Sandspit side on the water and would be arriving by ferry. The first ferry of the day departs Alliford Bay at 7:00 am. Hence, a start time of 7:00 am at the Heritage Centre would prevent runners living or staying on that side. With the New Start Time for both the half and the full marathon, together this year, at 8:00 AM people can stay or live on the Sandspit side of the water and still come and run the race.
The 10 kilometre race will start at 8:30 AM and the Mara Fun will take place at 9:00 AM.
